So obviously, invitations are arguably the most important part of a planned event, and not something to be overlooked. They relay imperative information to your intended guests, and not just where the party is and when they should arrive. Invitations can also let your guests know whether gifts are acceptable, what the dress code is, and other pertinent facts about your event. For example, if you are having an "around-the-house" or "around-the-clock" bridal shower, it requires that each guest to bring a gift that is associated with either a different room or different time of day. The invitations are the time to let the guests know their assignments. This is also the first chance your guests will have to see what you are planning for your event, especially if you have a theme. You can go the simplistic way and have printing on a single sheet of cardstock with a colored border, or, if for example, you are doing a garden party, print your invitations on cards in the shape of a sunflower.
